On Monday March 5, North Ryde RSL Womens Bowling Club hosted a fashion parade- featuring clothes from Stafford Fashions - where proceeds went to Bowl for Others.

Bowl for Others supports the following charities- Eye Hospital, Melanoma Institute, Heart Foundation, Diabetes centre, Gynaelcological Cancer centre, Kidney Health, Air ambulance, Asthma Foundation and Alzheimer's Australia,

Some 90 ladies attended the Fashion Parade so almost $1,000 will be donated to Bowl for Others.

Pictured is the President of the Bowl for Others and the five of the lady bowlers that were models on the day- all committee members - Colleen Renwick (Committee) , Elaine Marsden (Hon Sec) , Carmel Candrick (Treasurer) Ivy Hitchens (Chair of Selection/Match) and Anne Richardson (President) - from L to R.
So- bowlers can do more than bowl!
