For many years, the NRRSL Sports Club and T.G. Millner Fields have played an
important role in the local sporting and wider community.
As the Sports Club transitions towards the next stage of the site’s future, a new vision
for recreational parkland and com munity space is taking shape.
Its strong connection to local sport and the community remains an im portant part of the
site’s history, while Marsfield Com m on represents the next chapter.
With the sale of the property settled the new owners, Winston Langley and the Abadeen Group, who we believe understand the site’s history, share the Club’s belief in the Marsfield Common planning proposal, and have the intention and possess the resources and ability to continue through the complicated and costly rezoning and development application process towards making that a reality.
