The Indoor Sports Intra Club is committed to providing social activities within North Ryde RSL and fostering good relationships between members, visitors, staff and management with an emphasis on socialising in a fun way as well as through competitions.
Description:
The Indoor Sports Intra Club provides support to our players who represent North Ryde RSL at District competitions in Snooker, Billiards, Darts. We pay registration and match fees for all our teams. All members are eligible to trial for the teams.
Club Championships are open to all members and are played in all of the sports mentioned above in singles, pairs, scratch and handicap events.
Our Indoor Bowls and Darts areas are a major socialising area, as is the downstairs snooker, pool and billiard area.
If you are interested in any of the above activities, just come along and we'll be happy to include you. Ideas for any new activities are also always welcome.
The Indoor Sports Intra Club is one of the oldest Intra Clubs at North Ryde RSL having been around since the foundation of the club.
Regular Activities:
- Snooker and Billiards are played at competition level INTERNAL & EXTERNAL COMPS
- Indoor Bowls: Friday evening 6:00pm INTERNAL COMPS ONLY
There are also District and Club Championships, as well as special social nights, throughout the year.
The presentation night is held in September/October and each group has it's own Christmas gathering in December.
